Refugee Health and Social Care Advocacy

Refugee Advocacy

Health and Social Care Advocacy is a project for people who are refugees living in Lancashire and people who are seeking asylum in the area

Refugees tell us that they often experience barriers in accessing health and care services. This includes a lack of accessibility, access to quality interpretation and understanding of the services available.

Through this project our Advocates are supporting people to understand their rights and access services.

How can our Advocates support people who have resettled in Lancashire?

  • Understand rights to health and social care
  • Explore options and choices
  • Access health and social care services
