As an organisation built on the ideas of fairness and respect, we are taking our responsibility very seriously with regard to the outbreak of Covid 19.
The safety and wellbeing of our people, customers, clients, supporters and conference centre guests is our top priority. We want to assure each and every one of you that we are closely monitoring the developing situation and keeping completely up-to-date with the advice and guidance published by Public Health England and the NHS. We will continue to keep up-to-date, to ensure that our staff and volunteers are fully informed and implement official advice across all of our facilities and activities.
Drawing on national advice and our commitment to wellbeing, we have put measures in place to respond to Covid 19. We have created policies and processes designed to ensure that we can respond quickly to the developing situation. This includes preparing our people for alternative working arrangements and issuing detailed guidance to each of our offices and facilities.
In our Carlisle Conference Centre, we have adapted our already rigorous health and safety processes to minimise risk for our guests. We have increased our sterilisation measures across the busiest areas. We have set up sanitisation stations for our guests to use at regular intervals and have created signage to promote best practice.
In addition to this we are providing hand sanitiser and tissues for our visitors/guests throughout The Conference Centre as well as in all of our other offices.
We know that this time of uncertainty is difficult for all of us – businesses and individuals. Be assured that we will continue to keep informed and prepared as the situation develops.
