For 30 years People First has been supporting people to live their best lives.
Engaging. Listening. Being there. We have worked together to encourage individuals across our region to speak up, be heard, and live full lives.
Building on our experience, we have launched a new, dedicated and free service to support those who have counselling needs.
Introducing Here, a new, free therapeutic service available to everyone.
We provide safe online and telephone counselling services for people who prefer to connect remotely. This is our current practice during Covid – 19 restrictions and will remain an option for future clients.
Life has a habit of throwing problems at us that can sometimes feel overwhelming. We can support you. We’ll help you talk the situation through, process your feelings, and find helpful ways for building strength for the future.
In-depth therapy exploring the past helps to identify the root of your issues and will support you to understand and change longstanding emotional or behavioural problems.
Here offers high quality, free or low-cost counselling and psychotherapy that adheres to the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and UKCP guidelines.
We offer 8 free sessions for those who find it difficult to access private therapy. Further ongoing sessions can be negotiated where we continue to provide inexpensive access to talking therapies.
