Community Worker

West Cumbria

Between 4 days (30 hours per week) and 5 days (37.5 hours per week)

£19,573 FTE

Fixed term one year (PF are actively pursuing funding for continuation)


We are seeking a highly motivated, creative, and tech-savvy individual who is confident in both digital and interpersonal skills to help us grow our Self Advocacy network.

Self Advocacy makes a profound difference to the lives of people with learning difficulties and/or autism. It provides a safe and supportive environment in which a community of peers share experiences, ideas and conversation.

You will play a primary role in connecting people across Cumbria to engage with Self Advocacy and to experience the positive effects it brings.

You must be passionate about supporting people with learning difficulties and/or autism to get their voice heard.

You will join a dynamic organisation committed to supporting people across the North; and you’ll enjoy generous benefits including a 6% employer pension contribution.
