Shaping our Advocacy service

In January 2022, People First was awarded the Advocacy Quality Performance Mark from the National Development Team for Inclusion. The Quality Performance Mark is available to organisations who provide statutory and non statutory advocacy. To be awarded this mark, our advocacy service went through a rigorous self-assessment to make sure that that only the highest quality of providers are selected to receive this mark.

What does this mean for our Advocacy Service?

When People First was awarded the mark two years ago our Advocacy Director, Lindsay, shared; 

“The award of the Advocacy Quality Performance Mark, is a symbol of our dedication to our customers that we strive to deliver a service that is of the highest quality. From People First's humble beginnings, the belief in empowering supporting others to speak up continues to carry through to the work that we deliver today. ”

We couldn't of put it better ourselves. The award of this mark is a reminder of our commitment to serving the people in our community to deliver the very best. 

We recognise that people come to us when they are in their most darkest of moments. From making sure their voice is heard in decisions regarding their health and care; to advocating for someone who may be lacking capacity; the work we carry out to support each and every one of our customers needs to be of the highest of quality.
