Support Worker (Child) Egremont

The family of a 14-year-old girl with Autism/ADHD in the Egremont area are currently recruiting for a Personal Assistant/Care Worker to support their daughter in the local community.
The girl is verbal/able with a great sense of humour and would benefit from a mentor to inspire and motivate with life skills, hobbies and interests – such as shell picking and attending local youth zone.
The ideal candidate will have patience and the willingness to build a trusting relationship with the girl and support with building confidence and independence.
Support is required for 4hrs per week (weekly hours may be flexible to meet the child’s needs).
An understanding of additional needs/SEND or lived experience would be beneficial.
The successful candidate would require an enhanced DBS check in place, which would be funded by the employment package.
