What is the Lancashire Learning Disability Partnership Board?

We are a group of people who meet to talk about things that affect the lives of people with a learning disability in Lancashire.

The Board is made up of:

  • people who are responsible for learning disability services in Lancashire
  • people with lived experience of a learning disability and their carers

They work together to improve opportunities for people with a learning disability in Lancashire.

We make sure people with a learning disability and their parents or carers get to have a say and be involved in plans for the future.

The Lancashire Learning Disability Partnership Board covers all of Lancashire apart from Blackpool and Blackburn and Darwen.

Our meetings

The Lancashire Learning Disability Partnership Board meets 6 times a year at County Hall in Preston. One of these meetings will take the form of Learning Disability Conference.

Stronger Together Awards

The Stronger Together Awards event is like no other in Lancashire.

Over 120 guests from across the county's public, private and third sector at Barton Manor Hotel on the 24th September to celebrate the people who help make our community stronger.

These awards recognise that lasting change happens when voices are heard, partnerships are valued, and inclusion is at the heart of everything we do.

We are looking to work alongside a team of sponsors who share our values and with whom we can work collaboratively to ensure the event is a huge success. You can read our Sponsorship Proposal below.
