Creative Communities is a full day activity for young people to come together, to build on their knowledge of what's on offer in their local area.
Using a local community space, we will map out some of what goes on in the local area. We will take a community walk followed by creative art and craft work based on what we have seen, experienced and learned.
Throughout the day we will encourage and develop each young persons self-advocacy skills such as speaking up, decision making and self-confidence whilst promoting independence and building connections.
This session is designed for young people aged 14 - 18 years old with special educational needs and disabilities.
