Support required for a teenage girl with complex care needs and the family are currently recruiting for a Personal Assistant to provide support for their daughter on a 2-1 basis.

Our family is currently recruiting for an assistant to support a sociable and lively 8-year-old and 9-year-old boy who have Special Educational Needs in the Gosforth area. You may have a background in childcare/ care work/mentoring. The children love to video game, trampoline, play games and football.

The successful candidate(s) will be providing support within the family home and are expected to engage in fun activities with the children.

There are 8hrs per week available, this could be 1 person or split between two PA’s doing 4hrs per week each. Further details of shifts required will be discussed at the next stage of the application process, flexible working hours may be agreed.

The ideal candidate will be a good role model, with experience of SEN. Someone who is fun and lively, with basic skills in cooking and cleaning.

Full UK Driving Licence is desirable but not essential as mainly based in the local area.

The successful candidate must be willing to complete an Enhanced DBS check (fully funded by the Employer). Applicants who have a current DBS on the update service would be an advantage
