We are currently recruiting for a Personal Assistant/ Support worker to support a 8 year-old girl from Aspatria who has a diagnosis of Autism, ADHD, GLD and SLD. The girl is non-verbal and requires full assistance with daily tasks, such as personal care needs.

We are currently recruiting for a Personal Assistant/ Support worker to support a 8 year-old girl from Aspatria who has a diagnosis of Autism, ADHD, GLD and SLD.

The girl is non-verbal and requires full assistance with daily tasks, such as personal care needs.

The role will involve supporting the girl in her home environment and out in the local community in addition to a variety of keen interests and activities including (but not limited to):

· Playing on the iPad

· Swimming

The ideal candidate for the role will have patience and the ability to deal with any challenging situations in a calm and respectful manner and be able to build a relationship and trust with the girl.

Experience working with and understanding children living with disabilities is essential for this role.

Candidates must also hold a full driving licence and have access to their own vehicle with adequate business insurance.
