They are seeking someone who is patient, polite, and who can understand the children’s needs. The boys will need to be supported by someone who is high energy, and resilient. They will also need to be able to deliver personal care.

Applicants will need to have a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
They will need to have understanding of children with complex needs, and ideally some experience of supporting individuals with autism. As the boys are preverbal, having some understanding of alternative forms of communication would be desirable.
Applicants will need to be able to manage dysregulated experience and sensory processing needs and will be able to apply strategies to calm the boys down. They will need to have good communication with the family and be willing to learn and adapt their approach.
The boys will need to be supported by individuals who can deliver their personal care (pad changes).
The applicant will need to build a relationship with the boys and get to know their needs, ideally in the home initially before taking them out.
