Salary: £11.44 per hour
Work Hours: 4-8 hours p/week

The family of a 11-year-old boy living in the Workington area are currently recruiting for 2 Personal Assistants to support the boy on a 2:1 basis, who is non-verbal and has Autism with a variety of tasks and activities.

The family of a 11-year-old boy living in the Workington area are currently recruiting for 2 Personal Assistants to support the boy on a 2:1 basis, who is non-verbal and has Autism with a variety of tasks and activities.

The Personal Assistant will be always vigilant whilst supporting the boy in the local community and able to keep up with the boy who is active and enjoys running around.

Support is required with (but not limited to):

· Swimming

· Exploring the outdoors

· Sensory Stimulation (Smells, Tastes, Feels etc)

· Encouragement to try new foods.

The family will contact suitable candidates to arrange interview or to further discuss application.

Weekly hours are flexible to meet the boy’s/family’s requirements.

Support may be required on Weekdays, Weekends and during School Holidays.

A DBS check is mandatory for this role.

4 hours p/week per PA during term time at the rate of £11.44 p/hour

8 hours p/week per PA during school holidays at the rate of £11.44 p/hour
