We are currently recruiting for a 2 Personal Assistants/ Support workers to support a 14 year-old boy from Whitehaven on a 2:1 basis who has a diagnosis of Autism and ADHD.

We are currently recruiting for a 2 Personal Assistants/ Support workers to support a 14 year-old boy from Whitehaven on a 2:1 basis who has a diagnosis of Autism and ADHD.

The boy is non-verbal and requires lots of encouragement and prompting with daily tasks and full assistance with personal care needs.

The role will involve supporting the boy in his home environment and out in the local community in addition to a variety of keen interests and activities including (but not limited to):

· Swimming

· Exploring the outdoors

· Farm parks

· Play parks

The ideal candidate for the role will have patience and the ability to deal with any challenging situations in a calm and respectful manner and be able to build a relationship and trust with the boy.

Experience working with and understanding children living with disabilities is essential for this role.

Candidates must also hold a full driving licence and have access to their own vehicle with adequate business insurance.
