Support required for a young male adult who is registered blind, to access activities and events within his community and encourage his independence.
There are 21 hours available per week and the days and times will vary to meet the man’s needs. It will mainly be a few hours each afternoon Monday-Friday.
The tasks would include meal preparation, socialising, shopping, walks or even getting out for a drive. He attends pottery classes twice per month and on the weeks he is not there, he volunteers at his local food bank. It is important that these activities continue with the support of his new Personal Assistant.

The ideal applicant will have a Full UK Driving License and access to their own car with the appropriate business insurance.
The successful candidate will be asked to complete a DBS check and the cost met by the employer. Applicants on the Update Service would be an advantage.

Rate of Pay: £14.00
