What is safeguarding?
‘Safeguarding’ is the term given to measures and actions that are taken to protect specific groups of people, such as children, young people, and adults with care and support needs, who may be at risk from harm, abuse and neglect.
If you are concerned that an adult living who may be at risk of abuse or neglect and cannot protect themselves, you can report your concerns to Adult Social Care.
