Welcome to our April Newsletter!

This month, our Engagement Officers Chloe and Andy were busy attending local Community Hub events and holding our Listening Cafés.

Chloe even got to meet Jafar the snake at a Cumberland Family Hub event!

We’ll be sharing our tips for reducing stress, alongside advice about dentist services in our first ever HWC Agony Aunt article.

We discussed ideas with other local Healthwatch teams.

At the end of March, the Healthwatch Cumberland team go the chance to catch up with other local Healthwatch teams across Cumbria and the North East.

We enjoyed some very interesting discussions at the Royal Station Hotel in Newcastle, and were able to hear more about what projects and events the other teams are getting involved in.

We even got to share our A-Z of Menopause with everyone!

Having a child can be traumatic, from changes in relationships to difficult births and miscarriage. Often, there is little support available to dads during this time as the focus is mostly on the mother.
