Support Worker (Child) Penrith SM/CAR577
Advertised on behalf of a customer:
A family in Penrith are looking to recruit a Personal Assistant for their 4-year-old daughter who was born with a genetic disorder called Angelman Syndrome. This means she has mobility issues, is non-verbal and has a learning delay. She is a happy girl who loves to play.
The ideal applicant will be active, playful and experienced with children. Epilepsy experience preferred but not necessary as training will be provided. Administration of medication won’t be required as the family will manage this.
Full UK Driving Licence preferred so that the young girl can go swimming, to the park and other possible outings, however this wouldn’t be every shift.
There are 5 hours per week available in term time and additional hours in the school holidays. These hours can be flexible, however fixed days and times can be arranged if needed. Most likely to be within school times/days. Further details of shifts required can be discussed at the next stage of the recruitment process.
