Healthcare vacancy

  • Business Industry: Healthcare
  • Location: Carlisle
  • Job title: Theatre Laundry Domestic Assistant
  • Hours: 6hrs per week, exact times to be confirmed
  • Days: Tuesday and Thursday
  • Salary/ Pay: Band 2
  • Contract type: 1 year fixed term initially 
  • Start date: To be confirmed, however likely as soon as possible
  • Tasks: 
    • Iron clean theatre clothing, specifically hats
    • Return clean hats to the correct pigeon-holes
    • Ensure pigeon-holes remain clean and sterile
    • Empty laundry bins to ensure hats are regularly washed
    • Ensure corridors and storage areas are clean and tidy.

Hospitality vacancy

Business Industry: Hospitality

  • Location: Grasmere
  • Job title: Kitchen/ Linen Porter OR Housekeeper
  • Hours: 12hrs per week
  • Days: 3 days per week, 8am-12pm, exact days to be confirmed
  • Salary/ Pay: £12.85 per hour
  • Contract type: To be confirmed
  • Start date: As soon as possible

Tasks for Kitchen Porter:

    • Rinsing crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils
    • Loading dishwasher with crockery, cutlery and utensils
    • Unloading dishwasher and drying items
    • Putting crockery, cutlery and utensils away
    • Assist in putting deliveries away
    • Cleaning dishwasher
    • Emptying kitchen bins
    • Mopping kitchen floors
    • Cleaning kitchen worktops

Tasks for Kitchen Porter:

    • Removing dirty linen from beds into laundry bags
    • Taking laundry bags to linen room
    • Taking laundry bags to the linen room from the linen supplier drop off/collection point
    • Bringing new linen to the bedroom
    • Making beds
    • Hoovering bedroom carpets
    • Hoovering public areas, ie, stairs, reception
    • Mopping bathroom floors
    • Cleaning bathrooms
    • Cleaning bedrooms
    • Replenishing and cleaning in room tea and coffee making facilities
    • Emptying bins from bedrooms and bathrooms 
    • Refilling Housekeeping caddies
    • Placing delivered linen on shelves in linen room
