Salary: £12.71 per hour (Employed) or £16.00 per hour (Self-Employed)
Work Hours: 6hrs per week (Term time) & 18hrs per week (School holidays)

My son has a diagnosis of Autism, PDA, ADHD and a heart condition. He requires emotional and behavioural support as well as support with feeding and personal care.

He enjoys a range of activities such as baking, gardening, arts and crafts, as well as going to soft plays and playgrounds. He likes animals and different types of transport. He enjoys being picked up and swung around.

He needs a calm, gentle person who can adapt to his needs e.g. not ask him questions or talk much, and be led by him in regards to communication. An understanding and acceptance of gender non-conformity would be ideal.

I am happy to be flexible with support days / times and would explore a job share if it is appropriate.

Essential criteria:

  • PA must have a Driving License and access to their own vehicle.
  • Not have an allergy to cats.
  • Non-smoker

Preferred criteria:

  • Understanding of PDA would be ideal.
