We are looking to recruit a compassionate and proactive Personal Assistant (PA) to provide dedicated one-to-one support for an individual as they move forward into the next chapter of their life. The role focuses on promoting independence, confidence, and wellbeing while offering encouragement and reassurance.

This position is ideal for someone who is caring, understanding, and able to motivate others to live as independently and confidently as possible.

About the Role:

Your role will be to support, encourage, and assist the individual in developing a self-sufficient and healthy lifestyle, including:

  • Promoting good nutrition and supporting with cooking.
  • Encouraging participation in education and study.
  • Assisting with the transition into adult life.
  • Building self-confidence and independence.

Experience & Requirements:

  • Experience supporting individuals with Autism and Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA) is essential.
  • A full driving licence and access to a vehicle is required.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
  • Able to work independently and use initiative.
  • Good organisational and time management skills.
  • Able to maintain accurate timesheets and record working hours.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
