Bank position to support a lady with MS helping her to maintain her independence and enjoy day-to-day life.

We’re looking for a friendly and reliable Personal Assistant to support a lady with MS living in the Carlisle area, helping her to maintain her independence and enjoy day-to-day life.

Primarily, for this role, we are looking for someone who is available for a few hours each week to support with the cleaning and ironing.

You must also be willing to cover staff holidays/absences when required.

The ideal candidate will have a full UK driving licence and a calm, respectful nature. You’ll need to be dependable, flexible, and comfortable working as part of a small team.

Duties will include (but aren’t limited to):

  • Household tasks such as cleaning and ironing
  • Supporting with personal care and daily routines
  • Assisting on days out and social activities
  • Meal preparation
  • Shopping support
  • Accompanying to appointments when needed

Experience or understanding of MS is helpful but not essential, as full training will be provided, with any additional training arranged by the employer.

Hours:
A few hours per week, day can be flexible for regular hours.

Some flexibility will be required depending on needs, and holiday cover may also be needed.

Rate of pay: £13.04 per hour
