Salary: £15.11 per hour
Work Hours: 21 hours per week - Weekly Rota

Personal Assistant required to support gentleman with all aspects of care/support in the Cleator Moor area.

We are recruiting for a Personal Assistant to support a gentleman living with Cerebral Palsy in the Cleator Moor area. 

The role will cover all aspects of care and support, to maintain the gentleman’s independence in is home environment and the local community including (but not limited to):

• Personal Care

• Cooking & supporting with meals 

• Household tasks/ Light cleaning duties 

• Support with appointments 

The ideal candidate will join the already well-established team of Personal Assistants providing support and will be flexible to cover annual leave/sickness. 

A full driving licence is required for this role to drive the gentleman’s vehicle (held for a minimum of 1 year to validate insurance).

Full training will be provided and the offer is subject to satisfactory DBS clearance (Employer will fund application).

Skills Required: 

Essential: 

• Full driving licence 

• Satisfactory DBS clearance 

• Excellent communication skills 

Desirable: 

• Prior experience supporting adults living with a disability 

• Portable DBS advantageous
