About the Role

Are you passionate about supporting young people with autism?
Do you enjoy fun, outdoor activities and making a real difference?

We are looking for a caring, compassionate, and enthusiastic individual to support a non-verbal young girl with autism and a severe learning disability for 5 hours per week during the school holidays. Your role will involve accompanying them to activities they enjoy, such as soft play and outdoor adventures – they absolutely love being outside!

About the Role:

  • 5 hours per week during school holidays
  • Supporting a young person to access activities in the community
  • Providing assistance with walking and ensuring safety at all times (no danger awareness)
  • Some personal care may be required

About You:

We are seeking someone who is:

  • Autism-aware, with an understanding of the challenges this can bring to a young person’s life
  • Compassionate, patient, and fun, with a genuine passion for your role
  • Experienced in working with young people in a care setting
  • Ideally holds a full UK driving licence to support with transport to activities
  • Vigilant, responsible, and committed to promoting safety and wellbeing
