About the Role

We are seeking a kind, patient, and reliable Personal Assistant to support a 9-year-old child with autism in the Carlisle area. This is a rewarding role for someone who enjoys working with children and supporting their development in a safe, positive, and engaging environment.

Key Duties

  • Providing personal care as required
  • Supporting the child with activities they enjoy, including:
    • Playing the keyboard and other musical instruments
    • Visits to soft play centres, parks, and trampolining venues
  • Encouraging and supporting the child’s interest in languages

Requirements

  • A valid DBS check (funded by the employer)
  • Full driving licence
  • Previous experience working with children with Autism or additional needs
