Personal Assistant (PA) – School Holiday Support

We are looking for either two Personal Assistants (3 hours each) or one Personal Assistant (6 hours) to provide support during the school holidays for a 7-year-old boy with Autism, ADHD, and Type 1 Diabetes.

Exact hours and days can be flexible and will be arranged in advance between PA and Employer.

He is a fun, energetic little boy who enjoys swimming, trampolining, and spending time outdoors. The role involves supporting him to access enjoyable activities in the community while ensuring his safety and wellbeing.

Essential Requirements:

  • Experience supporting children with Autism and/or additional needs.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Access to your own vehicle with business-use insurance.
  • Enhanced DBS check (applicants registered with the DBS Update Service are preferred, although a new DBS can be arranged if required).

Desirable:

  • Experience or knowledge of Type 1 Diabetes.

Full diabetes training will be provided, as his diabetes is currently managed using an insulin pump.
