We are seeking a caring, reliable, and enthusiastic Personal Assistant to provide dedicated one-to-one support for a 4-year-old child with Autism, a severe learning disability, and ARFID (Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder).

This rewarding role involves helping the child to engage in everyday activities, develop skills, access the community, and enjoy meaningful experiences in a safe and supportive environment.

The successful candidate will support with personal care, feeding, medication administration, communication, emotional regulation, educational and developmental activities, and community outings.

The child is a happy and active young person who enjoys arts and crafts, soft play, outdoor adventures, sports, and exploring local parks and community spaces. We are looking for someone who can build a positive relationship, encourage participation, and make activities fun and engaging.

Essential Requirements:

Applicants with previous experience supporting children with additional needs are an advantage.

An Enhanced DBS check is required and will be funded by the employer.

Hours:

Weekend hours available – average of 4hrs per week.

Rate of Pay:

£12.71 per hour
