We are supporting a family in the Aspatria area to recruit a Personal Assistant to support their 9-year-old daughter who is non-verbal living with Autism, Severe Learning Disability, Epilepsy, Global Development Delay & other conditions, to support her with aspects of everyday life.

Advertised on behalf of a family:

The ideal candidate will be required to build a trusting relationship with the girl and
encourage them with independence, keen interests/hobbies and everyday tasks.
The role will involve supporting the girl in their home environment and in the local
community.

The girl has a great imagination and loves to engage in various activities including:
• Water based play
• Art activities
• Swimming
• Sensory
• Trips to the Local Aquarium

Skills Required:


Essential:
• Enhanced DBS Check (funded by the employer)
• Experience of supporting children living with a disability
• Experience with epilepsy awareness and management

Desirable:
• Drivers Licence
