About the Role

We are looking for two kind, energetic, and reliable Personal Assistants to support a 10-year-old boy in Frizington who has autism, ADHD, PICA and is non-verbal. 

This rewarding role involves providing personalised care and support to help him engage in his favourite activities, such as visiting aquariums, parks, the library, soft play areas, swimming, trampolining, and feeding ducks. 

He uses Proloquo2Go to communicate and requires assistance with personal care (dressing only), feeding, and behavioural support. 

The ideal candidates will have experience working with children with disabilities, hold a valid driving licence, and be available for 4 hours per week outside of school hours. A DBS check is essential (funded by the employer).
