The Billington Foundation

The Billington Group has a longstanding commitment to supporting charities in the UK. Previously, each subsidiary within the group selected a charity annually, conducting various fundraising activities such as bake sales, raffles, and charity races. 

Seeking to enhance their impact, the Group decided to consolidate their efforts and align with Buttle UK in 2019, focusing on improving the lives of children and young people.

The Billington Foundations focus is on interventions that elevate aspiration, self-belief, and resilience, aiming to re-engage young people with education while building confidence and work readiness.

Billington Foundation Charity Ball

We were proud to attend the Billington Foundation Charity Ball and to be one of their charity partners this year. It was a spectacular evening celebrating the Foundation’s incredible teams and their unwavering commitment to supporting communities through meaningful fundraising and partnership.

    Carrs Billington Tractor run

    Rev up for a day of horsepower, heart, and community spirit at the Carr’s Billington Charity Tractor Pull Event! This unmissable gathering brings together farmers, families, and tractor enthusiasts for a spectacular showcase of decorated machines, roaring engines, and countryside camaraderie, and even better it supports People First in our mission. 

    Set to take place on Sunday, 30th November 2025, the event starts from Borderway Mart in Carlisle, where participants will parade along a scenic route through the Eden Valley before returning to the city. Past events have filled the roadsides with cheering crowds and dazzling displays, with drivers pulling out all the stops to raise vital funds for young people.

    Whether you’re showcasing your tractor, cheering from the sidelines, or supporting the cause online, this event promises festive fun, powerful machines, and meaningful impact, all in one unforgettable day.
