The Stronger Together Awards event is like no other in Lancashire.
Over 120 guests from across the county’s public, private and third sector will come together at Barton Manor Hotel on the 24th September to celebrate the people who help make our community stronger. The event will shine a light on the individuals, groups and organisations making a real difference to the lives of people with a learning disability through collaboration, advocacy and inclusive practice.
These awards recognise that lasting change happens when voices are heard, partnerships are valued, and inclusion is at the heart of everything we do. People with a learning disability have experienced significant disadvantage over many years. To be recognised and celebrated in this way is a clear indication of the change that has taken place, and that needs to continue.
The Stronger Together Awards is our Lancashire Learning Disability Partnership Board flagship event. We are working with businesses to change the way they work alongside people with a learning disability. We are actively looking for new business partners to become part of this.
