Coming Together for Suicide Awareness Week: Our Chat & Talk Event

On Suicide Prevention Day, we gathered as a community for our Chat & Talk event. An open, supportive space where people could connect, share experiences, and access valuable resources.

The aim was simple but powerful: to remind one another that we are not alone. Too often, conversations around suicide and mental health are left unspoken. By creating a safe environment to talk and listen, we took another step toward breaking down stigma and building stronger connections.

A thought provoking session was led by Claire and Jess from Every Life Matters Alongside open conversations, we shared information about services and resources available for anyone in need, ensuring that support doesn’t end when the event does.

Community means looking out for each other, and Suicide Awareness Week and Suicide Prevention Day are vital reminders of the importance of compassion, understanding, and shared strength.

Thank you to everyone who joined us. By coming together, we show that help is always within reach, and that hope is something we can build, together.
