We had a visit from David Croisdale-Appleby .

On 9th May, we had a visit from David, Chair of Healthwatch England.

We took David to one of our Listening Cafes, and had the opportunity to share our recent project work with him. This included a display of our work from Behind the Addiction, and our A-Z of Menopause.

We were also treated to a delicious meal prepared by the People First catering team!

Read our article to find out what happened, and to hear our thoughts on the visit.

How are you today, Dad?

How are you today, Dad?

Do you have a paternal experience you’d like to share with us?

We want to know all about the experience of dads when they became a parent.

Having a child can be traumatic, from changes in relationships to difficult births and miscarriage. Often, there is little support available to dads during this time as the focus is mostly on the mother.

We want to know, how are you today, Dad?

If you feel ready to share your story, you can fill in our survey, or reach out to us by emailing: info@healthwatchcumberland and we’ll be in touch.
