HWE conference

Healthwatch England held a conference in London.

Local Healthwatch teams from Cumberland, Lancashire and Westmorland and Furness went to the Healthwatch England Conference earlier this month.

This provided a great opportunity for bonding with members from other local Healthwatch teams, and to learn lots of information.

There were sessions to discover more about what Healthwatch can be and the power of impact and our role.

Impact spotlight: menopause coach Lynsey Eland

Lynsey Eland

Lynsey is an incredible inspiration.

We wanted to take some time to thank menopause coach Lynsey Eland for working with us on our project Mental Health in Menopause.

Lynsey runs Dandelion Coaching, where she empowers women going through menopause and helps them to reclaim their life and feel like themselves again.

At our HRTea Party last month, Lynsey provided lots of information to women experiencing menopause symptoms. She has also filmed some really helpful videos filled with tips and advice which you can watch on our socials.

Next month, on 6th December, we will be hosting a menopause workshop in partnership with Lynsey and we can't wait!

You can book your free tickets for the workshop by visiting our Eventbrite page.

To read a bit more about Lynsey and the work that she does, don't forget to read our article here.
