At Cumberland Carers, we know that being a carer isn’t just a role, it’s part of who you are. Whether you are looking after a family member, a partner, or a friend, the support you provide is the backbone of our community.
But we know that caring can be as challenging as it is rewarding. That’s why we believe that the best people to tell us how to improve our services are the ones living it every day.
Why we need to hear from you
We are launching a short Carer Engagement Survey, and we want your honest, unfiltered feedback. As an independent advocacy organisation our mission is to ‘stand shoulder to shoulder’ with you. To do that effectively, we need to ensure our strategy aligns with your real-life needs.

What we want to know
We’ve kept the survey short because we know your time is precious. We are focusing on 3 Key areas:
- What we do well - Tell us what we’re doing well so we can do more of it.
- What can we do better - Be honest about where we are falling short and where the gaps in support are for you.
- What could we do more of – Supporting you with what you need.
