We are delighted to announce People First has been appointed to deliver Cumberland, and Westmorland and Furness Council’s Children's Direct Payments Support Service.

As part of a range of improvements we are streamlining our Direct Payments Support Service and renaming it UDirect Support.
While UDirect Support’s name may be new, the talented and experienced team who have established relationships and confidence with our customers remain the same, and People First’s dedication to delivering the very best service is unaltered.
UDirect Support will continue to provide expert guidance on understanding, managing and making the most of people’s direct payments, while introducing improvements to enhance accessibility, managing budgets and personalised support.
Judith Byers, UDirect Support’s Payroll and Accounts Manager, shared her thoughts on the service:
