We’re looking for a creative and enthusiastic Marketing Officer to join our team and help connect people with our work. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who loves telling stories, engaging audiences, and making a real impact through marketing. You’ll play a key role in shaping how we communicate—whether that’s through social media, campaigns, digital content, or events. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment and want to see your ideas make a difference, we’d love to hear from you.

You’ll have an initial focus designing a new suite of engaging, branded templates for presentations, marketing materials such as posters and newsletters. You’ll support the rollout of compelling digital content and you’ll be supported to learn new things and develop your skills whilst you align your work with our established brand guidelines.

We need someone who can work at pace to produce compelling and brand consistent materials and assets; you’ll experience a supportive and skilled team and you’ll work with varied projects and briefs; keeping things fresh and up to date.

About the Team

This position sits within our newly launched Development and Innovation Team. Connected by common purpose and dynamic ideas, the team includes a mix of development functions including Marketing and Communications, Bid Writing, Income Generation, Fundraising, Partnerships and Research.

The Team is fast paced, highly collaborative and made up of work stream leads who own their work, think big and support each other to be the best we can be.

The person

We’re looking for someone who’s creative, proactive, and care about our work and the people we support. You’ll help us tell real stories in a way that feels clear, human, and inclusive-bringing fresh ideas and energy to how we connect with people.

You’ll be a confident communicator who can keep things simple, warm, and engaging across social media and campaigns. You’ll have a good eye for design—able to create clean, on-brand graphics and visuals that help our content stand out. You’ll be comfortable using tools like Canva (or similar) to turn ideas into something people want to engage with.

You’ll understand what works online, both in terms of message and visuals, to grab attention and drive engagement.

You’ll be organised and hands-on—happy juggling tasks, spotting what needs doing, and jumping in. You’ll take pride in your work, be open to feedback, and work well both independently and as part of a team.
