Young Person with severe learning difficulties looking for support to access the community.

My daughter has severe learning difficulties, Epilepsy and Asthma. She also has hearing aids, is non-verbal but will use Makaton/PECS to communicate as well as gestures to make her needs known. She will need support with Personal care, medication and feeding.

She enjoys going out to playgrounds and soft play, as well as music, arts & crafts, baking and gardening. She also really loves swimming and messy play.

We are happy to be flexible for when the support is provided. There will be 4 hours a week, with the possibility of more hours being available.

Skills Required:

Essential:
• You must be at least 18 years old due to Personal care being provided
• A DBS check will be required before support can commence.

Desirable:
• A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
• Previous experience working as a Person Assistant / Support Worker.

Working Pattern / Days: Evenings / weekends
