Are you ready to R.I.S.E?
Resilience, Inspiration, Self-worth, Empowerment
The Healthwatch Cumberland team are looking at the different factors that affect youth mental health, and what is needed to support young people to feel empowered and happy. We believe that all young people should feel able to express themselves, talk about how they feel, and dream BIG for the future.
We will be hosting a series of workshops with young people aged 11-25, centred around the four elements you need to be able to R.I.S.E: resilience, inspiration, self-worth and empowerment.
We will also be available for case study chats and pop-ups.
Why does R.I.S.E matter?
Young people are facing increasing mental health challenges. Anxiety, depression and other mental health conditions are on the rise. Hospital admissions due to mental health in children has seen high rates in Cumberland, with around 694 admissions per 100,000 due to self-harm in 15–19-year-olds, compared to the average of 268 in England.
How can you support R.I.S.E?
Do you work with young people aged 11-25? We would love to have a chat about how our project can support your young people. The Healthwatch Cumberland team are available to come and visit to deliver one of our R.I.S.E workshops, or to carry out a case study chat with a young person who wants to share their story.
We’d love to hear from you!
