Based on real experience, this course is delivered by our experts to audiences with learning difficulties with the aim of empowering through knowledge on cancer risks, prevention, early diagnosis, screening and pathways.

With Cancer being one of the top 3 reasons of premature death for people with a learning disability, Pam and Lou’s presence at this session was extremely important and impactful. Working together with health professionals and Macmillan Cancer Support, the session provided a great opportunity to learn, listen and grow.

Based on their extensive experience, Pam and Lou shared valuable insights and perspective which will help to inform and improve cancer services. In addition, our Experts learned a great deal from this session too.
